What folks are saying about @EnglishAddicts

thumbnail

Feedback is precious. Just as it is for teachers, publishers like my team at Edulang sincerely do care how their materials are being enjoyed (or not).  Thankfully, I get mostly GREAT feedback from not only online and offline teachers, but students, trainers, schools and so I can’t help but share a bit of what I’m hearing with you.   STUDENTS I went on Englishaddicts and tried a free lesson, then I instantly fell in love with it, and therefore I decided to subscribe to it. -Donzen, china   I just purchased a Test Simulator and English Addicts access and both tools (…)

Learning English has always been important for me and I’m still willing to become (…)

Edulang now has a cool lil’ mascot AND a swanky new catalogue!

thumbnail

So what do you think of our new mascot? …     While revamping the webpage a bit, we also took the time to get around to something that clients, especially universities have been asking for awhile— a catalogue that describes all of our products.   Again, our mascot rose to the occasion  Check it out here.     And a quick peek at one page describing 1 of our 9 applications     I must say, it is cool working with a team of tech/design-oriented folks that can whip off things like this without thinking twice… I gotta (…)

Tesol Greece Blog Challenge

thumbnail

Tesol Greece has just launched a blog, and started off the interaction with a challenge: ” During an economic crisis, resources (books, budgets, infrastructure) are limited but high standards and qualifications are required so that learners can survive on the job market. Can the use of technology help learners and teachers overcome this problem? If so, how?”   My answer, without any doubt, is YES, especially if the concerns are budgetary. Technology in and of itself is a tool, and the current tool of the Internet is providing opportunities that very few language-learning tools have ever been able (…)
