    What have you learned through blogging in 2011  ?     My greatest lesson is that the more community-oriented you make it, the more benefits you’ll reap in terms of professional development and good ol’ human relationships  It’s been a great ride and thanks to all that have been so generous sharing, commenting and making my first blogging experience such a positive one. A leap of faith, photo story-telling inspired by @vickyloras


  Imagine a pilgrimage… where you trekked for month after month… and each step took you somewhere you’d never been before…   Vicky Loras challenged her PLN to share a story, personal or professional but a decisive one. #ELTPICS Crowdsourcing your classroom’s visual media


    Just saw that #eltpics has a blog and enjoyed Ceri’s recent post. Then I remembered Sandy Millin’s “How to” post back in June when she talked about the 30 different categories and 3000 or so pics already available… well, now it’s 52 categories, 5264 photos and 7 billion humans.  It’s been a busy few months  (millenia). And, it’s finally time for me to join #eltpics and I’ll kill 2 birds with 1 stone by uploading a number of pics from China per request of my PLN.  Just as with all 5000+ other eltpics, feel free to use them in class, (…)

Quick blog challenge from @adaptivelearnin


  Who doesn’t like a challenge, especially a good ol’ blog challenge !   These days there seem to be SO MANY to choose from !  I’m excited about answering Vicky Loras’s “What’s Your Story” challenge and joining the 20+ who have shared.  Likewise, I hope to do a language plant as I’m excited about David Warr’s new language plant maker, and his challenge to PLN to start making their own plant creations.
